DocMagic’s General Counsel Tara Klamrowski Named a 2025 HousingWire Woman of Influence

Tue, 07/01/2025

Torrance, Calif. – July 01, 2025 – DocMagic, Inc., the premier provider of compliant loan document generation, automated regulatory compliance, and comprehensive eMortgage services, announced that their General Counsel, Tara Klamrowski, has been named a 2025 HousingWire Woman of Influence. The Women of Influence program recognizes the outstanding efforts of women who are driving the housing economy forward through leadership and innovation.

Since joining DocMagic®, Klamrowski has rapidly become a cornerstone of the company’s strategic growth and innovation initiatives. In just three years, she has helped secure two U.S. patents for the company’s proprietary AutoPrep™ e-enablement technology—streamlining an otherwise decade-long process through expert coordination and deep technical fluency.

“Tara’s rare combination of legal insight, technological literacy, and business acumen has made her an indispensable part of our leadership team,” said Pat Theodora, CEO of DocMagic. “She’s not just managing legal risk—she’s enabling innovation and helping define our future.”

Klamrowski began her legal career advising high-growth startups in the Silicon Beach tech scene before pivoting into the patent field, enrolling in advanced physics coursework in order to qualify for and obtain her patent license. At DocMagic, she has elevated the legal function into a strategic force. She developed the company’s privacy program and risk framework, supports complex product rollouts, and leads the legal department, managing all legal operations—from contract negotiations to regulatory alignment.

Her leadership extends beyond the legal department. Tara is known internally for mentoring colleagues across departments and building legal literacy among non-legal teams. She has trained DocMagic’s sales professionals on risk allocation and contract best practices, empowering them to navigate negotiations more effectively and align legal considerations with technical capabilities.

“I’m honored to be recognized by HousingWire alongside so many accomplished women in our industry,” said Klamrowski. “At DocMagic, innovation drives everything we do. I’m proud to help create the legal infrastructure that allows our teams to build transformative solutions for lenders and borrowers alike.”

HousingWire’s Women of Influence award celebrates industry leaders who demonstrate exceptional leadership, professional achievement, and a commitment to excellence.

“This year’s honorees reflect the depth of talent and leadership shaping today’s housing economy,” said Sarah Wheeler, Editor-in-Chief at HousingWire. “With a strategic vision and a deep commitment to their teams and communities, these women are not only driving progress but also paving the way for the next generation of leaders.”
